Porn sites and spyware

I'll never talk about this enough. There is no reason for any computer today to be full of spyware. Yet study after study keeps showing that 90% of computers around the world are infected with dozens of spyware programs EACH.

Sometimes I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall but I don't care. It's important that you understand that you're at risk every time you visit a porn site or download free stuff online. It never ceases to amaze me that avid porn surfers are not protected against all kinds of spyware and malware.

Did you know...

- that some porn programs PAY their affiliates for each malware download? That's right! Every time a surfer visits their site, the malware automatically downloads onto his/her computer and bam! the referring site gets a few cents for each installation. Free sites, TGP's and MGP's, are the worst offenders. Free DOESN'T pay anyone, so they find ways to monetize their freeloaders.

- Do you read the terms of agreement when you download anything? Some adware/malware have dozens of pages in their agreement, all in small print... FOR A REASON! They don't want you to read it. When you click "I agree" you have no fucking clue what you just agreed to!!!

Do you know how to remove spyware by yourself? Because if you don't, taking your computer to the shop can get VERY expensive! Not to mention that you'll probably lose all the stuff you have stored on it. If you don't know how to protect yourself online, you probably don't do any backups either.
